There are 53 local libraries, a large central library and 5 mobile libraries in Leeds.
In addition to book lending, the Central library has a large collection for study and research as well as books, audiobooks, videos and CDs.
But libraries aren’t just about lending, and there are lots more things you can do: free internet, access online resources such as ancestry.com, services for people with English as a second language, learning sessions, reading groups
There are also lots of things you can do online from home -includes: joining, access to various large reference works, searching the library catalogue, reserving a book, renewing a book, using enquiry express.
