Help with care costs

If you want to apply for help towards the cost of your care you will need to be assessed by Adult Social Care. Care may be personal care at home, for example help with dressing or washing, or it may be the cost of living in a care home.
You can arrange this by telephoning the Contact Centre on 0845125 4113 or through your local Adult Social Care office.
If you are assessed by a social worker as needing care you may be also be able to get financial help. The amount you will be asked to pay is related to how much you are able to pay.
