Description

Day treatment service for people over the age of 65; mental health day treatment for broad range of mental health problems, mainly functional. One dedicated dementia day for short-term assessment (Thursday). The unit's remit is to assess individual mental health needs and provide planned interventions through named nurse system. This involves incorporating other agencies in assessment and co-ordinating discharge.
